ChromaCam NOT an option

Just purchased C922 camera (for the ChromaCam option!) - now, after installing with no errors, I cannot see the option for a ChromCam in either Skype for Business or Fuze.

What do I do to be able to use this?

I have exactly the same issue. Logitech C922 Purchase made for the ChromaCam option, no errors installing onto 64bit Windows10 machine. Up to date Skype and most current version of ChromaCam was installed. After installation, opening the installed executable for ChromaCam only gives me a 2 page marketing window with no active links inside of it, that tells me what programs the application is supposed to be able to work with. Opened Skype and went straight to settings and under Audio & Video ... specifically Video, there is no ChromaCam option at all. In the dropdown under Video, only 'Default device' and 'C922 Pro Stream Webcam' are options.

Uninstalled Personify and Personify_Inc folders as well as the Personify sub-folder in the Programs (x86) folder then reinstalled the ChromaCam software to get same lack of result.

Hi there, sorry for a late reply.

One of our users reported the same problem with the 64-bit machine and solved his problem on his own, and got back with below solution:

“If I force
a program to open 32-bit version. chromacam won’t crash. So any time I need
ur software to work I have to make sure whatever program I’m using it with
is a 32-bit version.”

Can you see if you can make it work with a 32-bit version of the software?

Having the EXACT same issue with the EXACT same camera and Windows 10. I'm not using Skype of Business ... just regular Skype. I'm not sure if that comes in both 32- and 64-bit flavors. When you go to About, there is not indication of a 32- or 64-bit version.

Are you suggesting this will only work on a 32-bit version of Windows 10???

I also can't get this to work with Google Hangouts. Chromacam doesn't even show up as an option.

With GoToMeeting, it asks me login, however, Skype and Hangouts doesn't (which is maybe the issue).

I have the "free" version in hopes of upgrading to Pro. However, after reading all of these problems I might be better off uninstalling Chromacast all together. It doesn't seem very stable.

Hi there,

Chromacam is having som trouble with softwares which are 64-bit, but Chromacam works best with 32-bit softwares.

Also, if it not showing up, follow the below steps and let us know.

In the Windows Search bar type “device manager”. Then click on the “display adapter” drop down. Locate your GPU, right click on it and then “update driver software.”
Did that help at all?

What you need to also do is update any other GPU drivers as well. For me, in device manager > display adapter. I have my nVidia GPU there, but I also have a listing for Intel HD Graphics. Right-clicking and updating the drivers for this listing is necessary too.
